The Hampstead Heath Stools are a development of  The Local Stool project. They expand on the  concept of revitalising inner-city making, by  utilising site-specific industry waste materials to  design and batch-produce traditionally and locally  crafted furniture for eclectic London life.

With a stronger emphasis on place-based design, the waste materials used to make the two stools were mindfully sourced from and designed around the historically rich and cherished area of Hampstead Heath.

Working closely with the Heath's tree team resulted  in the harvesting of a storm-fallen oak and elm  wood, that was diseased with Dutch Elm disease.
