TC Desk Lamp
The Temporary Constructions Desk Lamp is a material research project that developed a functional, wireless table lamp to explore the potential of unfired London construction waste clay as a renewable material for product design.The lamp is a more robust and detail-oriented product, compared to its counterpart, the Temporary Constructions Pendant Lamps; making it better suited for personal, rather than commercial use.
The unfired clay extrusion channels light from a base of fired clay, thrown on the wheel, creating a vibrant narrative between the different states of the material. Equipped with a discreet silver push button and an internal battery circuit, the lamp can be moved effortlessly from one room to another.
